Dr. Proctor holds board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology, underscoring his expertise and commitment to quality care.

He also addresses hoarseness, sore throats, salivary gland abnormalities, and various other ear, nose, throat, or neck issues.

Our History

Bruce Proctor, MD, a distinguished graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School in 1936, completed his otolaryngology training at the University of Chicago. He was a respected educator and researcher at both the University of Michigan and Wayne State University, and his expertise was recognized globally through his lectures.
Prior office locations included the David Whitney building in Detroit and a Pontiac office on Huron Street. From 1965 until his retirement in 1983, he served at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, transferring the practice to the Beaumont Medical Building in 1967. Bruce Proctor, MD, laid the groundwork for what has become our present-day practice, for which we are sincerely grateful. He passed away in 1992 at the age of 78.
